Our blessed Lord, who in love didst come to earth in the Holy Child of Bethlehem, come dwell with us this day. Help us never to forget that Thou hast come to dwell among us, that Thou art here in our midst!
We thank Thee that in the Holy Child Thou hast hallowed childhood everywhere. We rejoice that in the Gospel of Thy Son Jesus Christ Thou hast taught us to cherish every child.
For the children entrusted to us, may our lives overflow with gratitude. By their play our spirits are made glad. By their affection our souls are warmed.
