Heaven is the land of the free—those made free by the truth and by the blood of Jesus. It’s the home of the brave—those brave enough to set out on the most daring venture ever imagined, a venture from which no one ever returns—or wants to. It’s a land of constantly changing possibilities, reserved for those who—knowing they will someday be called to a new home—do not try to hold on to the past; but looking ever forward, by faith they constantly visualize the Holy City.
And we are all closer than we think.
